By Tim Dickson on 14/01/2011 15:48:11
Searching for new highs? Try injecting a dose of these mainline fixes. Supermotos on steroids go mad in the mountains.
the GS to serious off-road use BMW chose to junk much of the engineering paraphernalia we find ourselves making excuses for on other Bee Emms. The HP2 gets 'normal' USD forks and non-servo, non-ABS brakes (a single disc at each end), and it's far lighter

First Ride: 2006 BMW K1200GT
By Niall Mackenzie on 20/09/2010 23:26:18
The new K1200GT adds a dash of touring elan to the existing K1200S, allowing you to cross continents with Teutonic efficiency and comfort
and sizes.Where this bike is less able is on twisty roads that require lots of on/off throttle riding. While the mid-range response is fine, there is always a flat spot before the engine picks up, no matter how smoothly you try to accelerate from a closed

2010 Aprilia RSV4 Factory Mallory Park track test
By Mark Forsyth on 24/06/2010 15:17:54
Small, feisty and peaky, but raw, basic and flawed in some respects. Aside from all that, a beautiful creation and a most lusted after machine. And very, very fast too

First Ride: 2007 Yamaha YZF-R1
By Niall Mackenzie on 02/04/2008 11:15:27
First out of the blocks for 2007 and hoping to stay there, Yamaha's new R1 looks the goods. But is it? Who better to say than Niall Mackenzie, ex-GP god turned mortal.
