practice when Guitoli clocked a 1:58.362 lap of the 5.4km circuit.Ducati mounted Stoner settled for second spot, ahead of Suzuki's John Hopkins. Valentino Rossi, who trails Stoner by 44 points in the champioship clocked up the sixth fastest time.
