First Ride: 2002 Kawasaki ZX-6R
By John Cantlie on 29/03/2008 16:46:13
NOW WITH 36cc EXTRA FREE! If you can't beat 'em, cheat. Works for us and there's a decent chance it'll work for Kawasaki as they wheel out their new oversquare 636cc ZX-6R. Any good or dead horse flogged?
Without a back-to-back test of last year's ZX-6R and this 36cc larger one, it's hard to tell. The ZX-6R was always a cracking sportsbike tool anyway, so anyone expecting a midrange-laden super middleweight can walk away now and go buy a 750 instead

2009 BMW K1300 GT first ride review
By John Hogan on 09/04/2010 09:09:50
The new 1300GT is BMW doing what they do best; a fast, comfortable mile-muncher
me wrong, two-up with a weekend’s worth of kit for two, this bike will shine. But, after belting along fast A-roads like it can, the GT puts you in a sporty riding frame of mind, which if you try and apply to more demanding roads will result

Famous for being dull, the new generation of Deauville has grown up from humdrum commuter into baby Pan European.
people and their clobber climb aboard. The ride is acceptable if a little soft, though it does a reasonable job of dealing with poor road surfaces. The inclination is to wallow rather than glide, though I can't imagine becoming uncomfortable on a long

First Ride: 2006 Bimota DB6 Delirio
By Alistair Walker on 22/09/2010 15:35:00
A beautiful symbiosis of man-made and machine-manufactured? Or an over-priced, over-sexed, under-powered and over-here Italian?
of physical prototypes. "We used a computer first," explains Robbiano, "but our dream was to have a swingarm which gave alternative ride-height, or wheelbase, with the simple replacement of a few pieces. No matter what the computer says, you have to ride

First Ride: 2007 Suzuki Bandit 650
By Jon Urry on 02/04/2008 14:49:15
Old faithful returns with a new jacket, starched braces and a spanking new motor
I remember the first time I saw my dad wearing jeans. He just looked wrong. Dad's from a generation of slack-wearers, not denim, and him in Levi's finest looked as out of place as a Casio watch in a Ben-Hur film. But progress and the passing of time

Road Test: Ducati Multistrada 620
By Tim Dickson on 24/04/2008 21:51:49
Ducati keep it in the family with a brand new baby Multistrada. Tim Dickson braves the worst of Sicily's weather to find out more.
