2011 ZX-10R stock dyno run
By Ben Cope on 10/06/2011 17:22:37
The 10R and I head to PDQ in Bekrshire to bust some shapes on the dyno graph
With 800 miles on the clock and the first service out of the way, I took the ZX-10R to PDQ in Taplow to run it up on the dyno. On the road it feels really fit, quite revvy, plenty torquey enough. Over 8,000rpm it really gets into its stride

It's the early 1980s. Kawasaki's Z250T Scorpion is an attractive lightweight, uncomplicated machine. It has a modern rectangular headlight and clean lines. An unstressed engine on a naked machine, which fits the time and the place perfectly. So what

Triumph Tiger 800XC off-road review
By Ben Cope on 10/11/2010 15:08:33
How does the Tiger 800XC perform off-road?
took on some tighter, rockier and more technical terrain where 15mph was the maximum - the Tiger 800XC coped with it all.I have limited off-road experience. Unlike some of the other journalists, I'm no schoolboy champion. I feel that most potential

and come equipped with a loud 120dB warning siren powered by a single CR2 3volt Lithium battery. The XX15's carbide-reinforced substructure and 14mm double-locking pin prevent machines from being pushed or ridden by potential thieves. If the motorcycle

Make mine a Triple! Oulton Park weekender
By Ben Cope on 04/05/2012 10:40:09
This weekend I'll mostly be going round in circles. At Oulton Park.
.The total cost for the nine-round series is £16,000+ VAT (cheaper if you pair up with a Triumph dealer) which, in the world of racing, is quite cheap. Your sixteen-large gets you a prepared bike, entry fees and tyres but also includes Triumph's Academy

Every motorcycle fashion faux-pas. Ever.
By Ben Cope on 18/04/2012 12:20:27
We asked you to name the things that shame biking. You weren't backward in coming forward
playing at?Sliders over jeansNew addition: 19/04/2012. Some sort of Heath Robinson contraption that allows you to wear knee sliders over your jeans. I suppose it's for those times you're heading to the shops and absolutely have to get your knee down

First ride: Triumph Daytona 675R track review
By Ben Cope on 12/04/2012 12:07:34
We ride Triumph's top of the range Daytona on Bridgestone's new S20 tyres
feeling to be driving a tiny 600 off the bottom end like you can with the 675. Most 600s don't just require you to be in the right gear, you need to be in the right 1,000 revs too or you'll drop off the boil and become little more than a flustered, slow
