By Niall Mackenzie on 22/03/2010 12:46:27
Niall Mackenzie passes on his hints and tips on fast, but safe, road riding. It’s not all kneedown
For me, fast road riding has never been about on the limit braking, knee down action or the rear tyre wiggling while nailing the throttle on a corner exit. I’ve always liked to save that stuff for the track and, if the truth be known, be it lack

The Art of Fast - Six expert secrets
By Stuart Barker on 19/07/2010 15:26:01
There are various different species of rider but with most cases the requirement of speed is essential. Visordown examines why some riders are faster than others, what being fast really means and uncovers the secrets of going faster
on his own turf and you'd see nothing but dust - 70mph across a rutted field can feel like 200mph on the road. Likewise, most riders would be able to reach 180mph or more on a two-mile runway, but it takes a different kind of bottle to travel that fast

Reader's Rides: Folkestone Rumble
By Visordown on 29/11/2010 17:34:46
Reader Luke Williams sent us his favourite route around the Folkestone area. Get on!
an eye out for twitchers crossing the road near the power station. This is a fast but very bumpy piece of road that's usually traffic and police free. Ride through Lydd and out onto the Camber Road. Some of the corners out there are really good fun
