After the relative success of this year’s electric TT, bike racing’s governing body is muscling in on the act
allegiance to the breakaway series. Typically, they said the situation was ‘very delicate and ‘very political’. The FIM would not be drawn on further comments by phone. If nothing else this saga proves the viability of electric racing.

this the 2009 Isle of Man TT will have come and gone and, with it, the first laps on electric bikes. Although their paws must struggle with twistgrips, I’m toldpolar bears and endangered penguins like these silent machines but I’m not sure I’ll ever be a fan
