When it comes to winning, you don't want to be winning the crashing race
circuit very quickly anyway, so Paolo will only get a bit of a headstart. He had a really good start to the season, he doesn't crash and he will fight for it, and he's a good lad, he's all right. He's a bit dry. What I'm up to at the moment next year we

The collection of Whitham/Speedfreak machines has grown recently, and now includes some 600cc racebikes, ones that we can rent out to people who don't want to bash up their own roadbikes if they crash.

Whit counts his chickens before they've hatched
, and totally embarrassed to have crashed like that. But that wasn't the worst of it. As the bike was so trick the crash had cost a load of money for Hoss, so I had to give the team more than the agreed money. The money I gave to Hoss were nowhere near the real

If you break your arm bike racing, just make sure Foggy's on-hand to lend you his helicopter
As you know by now I had a big crash in the Brands Hatch World Supersport race. I had a good start in the re-run after Chambon had fallen but as the track starts to dip away on the entrance to the straight the rear started to slide. It slid for ages

If at first your rabbit goes flat, get a bigger rabbit. Yep, in Whit's world nothing is straightforward

Whit lets the wife take charge of his racing set-up
I went in early I ran wide; if I went in wide I had to open the throttle so early I was losing the back end. I was dropping back and went over the line in about eighth when they stopped the race because of a big crash and an oil spill.I was thinking

Securing your bikes in the back of a van? It's easy, unless your name's Whit
though. We had a cracking meeting at Snetterton. None of us had crashed and we were right up front in all the races. So for a change, the bikes just had to go home, get cleaned and that was about it. Two short days' work, so the lads were really pumped
