Milan Show: Honda Crossrunner
By mark forsyth on 02/11/2010 09:36:06
800cc V4 Adventure bike
This is the new Honda Crossrunner 800. Honda are at pains to point out that it's not an off-roader or even a soft roader but a new type of adventure sports machine. The biggest clues to this tarmac-only focus are the 17in road wheels and street tyres

Sorry about the snare drum...
Twisty roads, sunshine and 105Nm of torque. What could be finer?

Live from the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 launch: Session 1
By Mark Forsyth on 15/12/2010 11:22:21
There's a lot to take in...
Blimey. Not sure I’m learning the bike or the track here but I suspect the latter. Just done eight or so laps with John Reynolds showing me the way and after that I can start to appreciate what the bike’s doing rather than where the blind apex

The Diavel is in the detail...
Most of the fine detailing on the new Monster 1100 Evo is beautiful, right down to the Ducati logos printed in tiny type on the cables, the exquisite cable guides and the lustre of the alloy castings and deep red paint finish.I couldn't help

I'm at the launch of the GSX-R in Almeria and, well, the sun's out...
it hard not to.We had a full debrief last night and the new GSX-R six may not look much different but they've been busy. Big piston front forks, Brembo monoblock calipers, engine twizzled through three degrees to allow a shorter wheelbase, wider bars

2010 Kawasaki Versys First Ride
By Mark Forsyth on 22/01/2010 14:16:27
It's big, it's ugly but it's actually very good - says Visordown's wizened road tester
not look all new but there are definitely some major improvements.'It’s a fun bike to be enjoyed on a variety of roads,’ said a company spoke-speaker. I’d tend to agree although the ride back I’ve had – against the stop in sixth gear for nearly half an hour

Milan Show: Honda CBR250R
By mark forsyth on 02/11/2010 09:59:13
Skinny 250 single. Rumoured to be pretty good on fuel, too...
The CBR250R looks really cute. Small, lithe and sporty. It's as slim as most 125s with a wasp-like waist making it really easy to get both feet flat on the floor. We pestered the man from Honda over dinner last night to confirm its price when
