Two thundering game birds who cooked thundering game birds, and batted about on a trusty Thunderbird combination
around London. The Triumph was owned by the BBC and took some getting used to after the Cub - filming the first episode, she crashed headlong into the camera. Sadly, the years of Woodbines took their toll and Jennifer died of cancer in '99, aged 71

Todd Carty has always been cool. Okay, so he's played miserable fruit and veg seller Mark Fowler for the last 12 years in BBC1's East Enders, but in most of the characters he's played on our TV screens he's ridden a bike. Oh, and go back to 1978
