Road Test: Ducati Multistrada 1000DS
By Jon Urry on 27/04/2008 20:47:54
I have to say I'm a bit of a Multistrada fan. It's one of those strange bikes that, initially, I wanted to hate, but has since really grown on me.
we still snap up Ducati's sportsbikes rather than its more practical all-round machines. So why is this? In Europe the biking culture is a bit different to ours. Here in the UK biking is more of a leisure activity than a way of life. Hence the reason

Ready to Race with Triumph's Speed Triple
By Jon Urry on 15/04/2010 13:52:24
Triumph’s Street Triple beats the competition on the road, but how about on the track? We enter a completely bog stock street triple into a national race to find out
of bafflement while everyone else buggers off into the distance.Racing is a strange thing. If you sit down and coolly analyse the goings on it’s one of the most pointless activities known to man. Imagine trying to explain it to a Martian. ‘We go round in circles

Colditz
By Jon Urry on 01/11/2005 16:41:47
It's every officer's duty to escape. So our four battle-weary soldiers slipped the confines of Blighty for the freedom of Germany's autobahns to stretch the legs of four very fast bikes

American Muscle - Yamaha V-Max
By Jon Urry on 09/09/2009 17:39:26
In 1985 Yamaha launched an unashamed brute of a bike. Born on the drag strip the V-Max was a mass of metal and chrome which instantly drew a cult following. Now, 23 years on, does the old master still command any respect?
it for ever. Others buy it, it scares the shit out of them and they sell it. That’s part of its appeal. The Vmax club is really active, we meet every other month in Warwickshire and we have a rally on the first weekend in September in the Midlands. It depends
