GSX-R600 long-termer update
By Richard Hallett on 18/10/2010 16:47:51
Richard suddenly sees the errors of his ways...
When MF asks me if I fancy riding the Visordown test GSX-R 600 for a bit, I hesitate for about a millisecond before accepting. Why? ‘Cos my own courier’s favourite Diversion 900 may be heavy and utterly unexciting, but it is also a comfortable and trusty commuter ride that suits ...

The Longest Test: Visordown Long-termers Review
By Everyone on 02/11/2009 10:31:40
Six very different bikes with one thing in common – an identical 2,500 miles to cover through France in less than five days. Visordown takes our long-term test fleet out of the comfort zone to find out more about the bikes we thought we knew so well…
Blessed with all manner of bikes to ride during the summer months, it’s very easy to get a bit complacent. With Rob using his GSX-R1000 mainly as a commuter, James’ taking the XR1200 on long motorway stints en route to various commentary booths

VFR1200 long termer
It’s not often I get the excuse on a weekend to go for a 400 mile blast just for the sake of it. But today (Sunday) I did and it’ll go down in my rapidly depleting memory banks as one of those legendary rides to be treasured forever. That’s as long

Visordown's news man fires-up the longest-standing long-termer on the fleet
AS LONG-TERM test bikes go this is about as lengthy as it gets.Having bought this 2002 KTM 200EXC (pre-mix model) in 2003, I've ridden the lightweight two-stroker less times than I'm happy to admit in seven years of ownership.Like many of the bikes

Suzuki GSX-R600 longtermer update...
By Richard Hallett on 18/11/2010 16:04:50
A man with mechanical sympathy writes
I’ve done it; I have handed back the GSX-R 600 to its original owner. Ours was a short but sweet relationship; I didn’t fall off and it didn’t spit me off. In the end, though, I wasn’t too sad to hand back the keys. Not because I didn’t like the bike or like riding it. If I though...

By mark forsyth on 01/03/2011 14:12:53
Or bits of it, anyway
Well, after several months of eager anticipation, that day has arrived. My 2011 Repsol Blade has finally rocked up. She'll be accompanying me this year on a voyage of track days, real road racing spectating and on my 200 mile commute between the office and home. Come on spring!I ...

Dancing in the rain - Niall Mackenzie's R6
By Niall Mackenzie on 14/08/2009 15:34:27
Niall’s been getting wet, fiddling with his suspension and learning how not to use a side-stand...
skies for at least thirty minutes I then encountered an hour long deluge from Stoke to Tarporley. Always looking for a positive I thought well at least this will be an opportunity to test my ‘BSB’ Pirelli Diablo Supercorsas that had so far only seen dry

Harley just dropped this off
By Ben Cope on 13/07/2009 11:15:05
Rocker C lands at our HQ for a week-long test. Prejudice left at the door.
I haven't ridden any Harleys for along time, so I thought I'd get a few in over the coming weeks to put some miles on them and see what they're all about. First up is the £15k+ Rocker C from the Softail range. At that price, it better be good.
