Yes, it’s dull as dishwater, but if dependable and unbreakable is what you’re after, this could be it. Just don’t expect to stay awake riding it

The bike in question is not mine, it's my father-in-law's. I've only had about 3hrs, in total, in the saddle but I like it more than I should. My background is much faster (my dad's gsx1400), or lighter (my Dom Continue reading...

Unfortunately the Deauville has been labeled as dull, but it has never had any sporting pretensions. When used for its intended role there is no bike that can compete. To commute daily and for the occasional to Continue reading...

I love my Nt650V. It's strong dependable, cheap to maintain, good all weather bike. Yes it's no frills and I know it's not exciting but would I change it for another bike to do my daily 94 mile commute? Not on your nelly..... The only change would be to get heated grips.

Ken, I have the new version, I would agree with you about the bike, I used to have the 650, but try the new one, it is much improved. It also comes with heated grips. I love my deaville, have been to spain and france with it, perfect touring bike, or great for any trips.

I also ride it in the most inclement weather, never a problem.

My only grief is that Honda do not provide a belly pan, so the engine block gets dirty.

Happy riding
