Beautiful alternative to the well known RT.

Handling and brakes are the main features this bike has to offer. The ABS works well and the adjustable rear suspension enable this bike to be ridden hard through the twisties or fully loaded with a pillion on a long trip.
Fit some decent rubber and a sheep skin seat cover to complete the package.
Plenty of torque to allow you to boot it from 40ks in 5th to well over legal speeds. I mean there's no use having 110 horses if you can't let them run every now and then.

Great bike , a brilliant tourer and second hand bargin , a forgottan gem for those who think an RT is too big

extreamly well built , comfortable , almost 100lbs lighter than an r1150 rt.
not a sport bike but does well in mountain s bends through switzerland.
seats a bit hard , but thats what the aftermarket is for .
Ohlins really transform the bike , not that the stock set up is bad , but this is a nice tweak for the twisties ,

GREAT FIRST BIKE. SOLID AS A ROCK AND QUICK ENOUGH.

It has never surprised me yet - corners really well and feels planted.
Not really sexy
Until I get more experience difficult to compare performance to say a litre sports bike.
