Nice, solid well built bike, punchy when you need it, easy to ride and does everything it says on the tin.
Starts easy, reliable, smooth, easy to clean and gets 60 mpg on a long run (300 to the tank) If you want to just ride and not have to fiddle to keep it going then this is the bike for you. Sat nav talks to the bike telling you when fuel is low and where the nearest fuel station is. radio works well and can be heard through the speakers even at 70mph. The lights are the best I have ever had. Top box and side cases are removed in under 2 mins for easy cleaning.
The sat nav beeps if you are speeding which annoyingly I haven't found a way of silencing yet, the drive clonks at low speed in heavy traffic. The bikes electrics are canbus system so I bought the optimate 4 dual so i could charge it through the power sockets but I now know that it is not compatible with this system so still charge it through the pigtale straight to the battery.
After having had Ducati's, Daytona 955, 675 and a Rocket 3 the BMW oozes quality and reliability, it doesn't keep cutting out, it starts easily and apart from the standard weekly checks and a clean all I have to do is ride it. (bliss) and I still get all the attention I got when I had the Rocket. Unless BMW mess up the experience in some way bye bye Triumph.
