Nuclear Red

OK so it was just a 2 hour test ride but it was enough to sign up for a delivery in May.

I have been looking for a tourer with attitude and I think I found it. Both me and my girlfriend ride but she has a problem with a nerve in her hand so she will be sitting behind me for a while.

This is a truly light steering but ballistic riding experience with as many gadets as you could want. I didnt mess around too much with all the gadgets on the move, just concentrated on riding the beast.

The engine is like the hand of God, the bike turns into a magic carpet which dominates the road and you seem to have unlimited power under your right hand.

The semi servo clutch is slightly intrusive if you keep a pair of fingers resting on the lever, it pulses and the throttle is sensitive (although I didnt try dynamic, road was more than enough for a quick spin). I rode the bike in comfort mode on the suspension and it handled great

Build quality and the amount of thought that has gone into the whole package is impressive from the centrally locked panniers and cubby holes to the see round the corner headlamp. The built in Sat Nav and interfaces are inspired.

Looking forward to the day when we pick it up, all I have to do is get my existing bikes sold.....

Need to know

Gadget and tech laden, the only thing that isn't electric is the engine, and that's smooth enough to make you wonder.

Huge torque from just above idle.

Very trick adaptive headlight.

Friendly bank manager and good credit rating will be required.
