Our Review

Every once in a while a manufacturer throws caution to the wind and does something seemingly rather absurd. Sometimes it works, and sometimes not. In this case, KTM have produced a bike that (on paper at least) is bordering on a kind of madness. The kind of madness however that ...  Continue reading

Coming from a Tuono type of background with a smattering of CB1300S and a sprinkle of BMW R1150, I can say in the 14 bikes I’ve had over the lat 8 years, this one is an utter nutta. It’s quick and nimble with t Continue reading...

Fantastic bike. I have a few bikes in the garage at the moment, and this is the one I enjoy the most. Once the seat was re-upholstered to something more ergonomic, it can be ridden comfortably all day. Twisties Continue reading...

I have a 2008 950 SM..... Does everything my ZX10R did, but at more sensible speeds.....MENTAL BIKE!!  16 tooth front sprocket changes the road gearing to a more usefull type. I use Maxxis tyres and they are brilliant wet or dry.

My 950 is now four years old and has done 16k without missing a beat. I know others who have enjoyed 25k of trouble free miles over the same period. It still makes me smile and every trip is an occasion.

I could never part with this bike, its now engrained in my soul. Ive tried plenty of others including the SMT and Multistrada and although they may have more power, without carbs they can't deliver it the same sublime way.

The 950SM is the original and best and will always have a place in my garage.

ive owned the ktm 950supermoto for 3 years now, its absolutely brilliant, i also own a very fast kawasaki zx12r !!  but the ktm gets round the twisties faster, has much, much better brakes &  is more fun !! i have burnt gsxr 1000s in the twisties as well,  its like being on a 600 !!  other riders look behind them & see my small front headlight & think im on a 250 or sumthing, they open theyre bikes up , then to theyre dismay , im still on theyre back wheel, you can see them shake theyre heads in disbelief in the mirrors !!  then when they finally give up trying to shake me off , they pull over , walk up to me & they just cant believe im on a big v twin 950 !!!!  awesome fun !!!
