Bad-ass, high-maintenance purpose-built supermoto

Very light, lots of power, great brakes and e-start, street legal.
Hard to find parts, high maintenance, not comfortable for rides over 30 minutes.
I bought this bike to own the fastest, lightest street-legal real supermoto that exists, and this doesn't dissapoint. This is faster than my 07 SXV 550, and lighter. Brakes are amazing, and with slicks it really hauls ass on track. HOWEVER, you can't commute on it, it's hard to find parts for, and it's prone to problems - it's a race bike with lights.

NOT A ROAD BIKE

IMMENSE POWER, GREAT HANDLING, FANTASTIC BRAKES !!!
ENGINE GOES BANG EVERY 600 MILES IF BEING USED ON THE ROAD
NOT FOR SPORTBIKERS WHO CONVERT TO SUPERMOTO UNLESS GOOD WITH SPANNERS AND PISTONS AND SHELLS !!!!!!

GREAT WHEN IT WORKS

Light, surgically precise handling, powerful brakes, pulls like a bull on steroids.
Engine was a lemon! It spent over 10 out of 12 months in the workshop and finally blew up at 700 miles. I have heard the '02 was the worst and that later ones are better.

Seat designed by the Marquis de Sade. At the end of the day, it's a full on MX bike on the road, so expect to give it lots of TLC in between the abuse. A commuter, it ain't!
Ultimate track day/hooligan tool. Do your research and find out which were the good years, then get one that has been mollycoddled. If you want sensible, buy an XR650 instead :-)
