Good between breakdowns!

Great bike, looks good. Dream to ride it but not suited for trips longer than 400Km in the dolomites. It will out run almost any bike in the mountains!

I had two. First one was replaced after 12 month of mayor trouble next was was great but than it started to lose water again.... luckely some idote stole the bike. Bike shope was great but service Aprila is crap! But I know a guy who did 20.000 km with no trouble at all....

Great bike but the quality is not that good and service is crap

HOOLIGAN-MOBILE

Brilliant fun. Something different. Wicked round the town.
63 MPH out of the box:-( 110MPH+ derestricted :-))

Short fuel range, but that's only a minor grumble and its not meant for touring anyway.
An absolute hoot. Can't imagine a bike which'd be more fun.

I can not emphasise enough how much of a different animal this thing is de-restricted. Frankly it's no more than a beginner bike in its state of tune from the dealership with max speed of 63mph!

Exhaust restrictors and throttle body stop removed and a wee bit of fiddling with the ECU and its transformed, 3rd gear wheelies anyone?!

Needs a bit more TLC than most regs oil changes etc, so definately a toy rather than a commuter.

STUPID 100% RACE BIKE WITH LIGHTS

Build quality, Styling, power, brakes, handling, everything.
crap Dunlop tyres, fuel range, needs 6 gears for road use
I paid £6100 for a 2008 in January.
This is a fantastic bike for short blasts, but if you think it’s a road bike, think again.
I had a Husaberg before the SXV and this makes the Berg look like a sensible everyday bike.
With a fuel range of 45 – 50 miles, your mates will soon get sick of you stopping for a fill up, the only upside to stopping every ½ hour is, you’ll give your mates chance to catch up and allow the blood back into your bum.
Aprilia do a rally tank which takes the fuel capacity up to 12 L from 8L, this is at the top of my shopping list.
Strangely for a race bike, the suspension is setup soft, so under hard braking, it tends to wag its bum around a lot which coupled with the useless standard Dunlops makes for a very entertaining but exhausting ride. But it is top entertainmet!!
