Amazing Bike - much better than the standard Daytona (had a 2008).

Love the engine - added an Arrow slip on that really picks up the sound. The brakes on the original bike were damn good - the Brembo's are better and have a great progressive feel and inspire confidence. The Ohlins suspension is worth the extra for the "R" version alone - extremely stable through every corner regardless of how knackered the road is. Quick-shifter is great fun and a bit addictive, especially when winding her out over 10 grand. Exclusivity is a definite plus as there are so few of these babies around - at least here in Ontario, Canada.
Committed riding position that you completely forget about when you're doing over 180 km's / hour - this bike is made for the track and once you get over that, you can put up with the strain on the wrists / neck / back. Under-seat exhaust looks trick, but cooks you in the summer, and on really hot days you want to keep the revs down. Tough call though as the bike sounds incredible at high revs. No serious complaints.
Gorgeous bike that sounds amazing and feels completely in tune with rider and the road. This engine has been reviewed numerous times and nothing beats it for feel, powerband, torque and sound. This bike feels exotic and it is one of the sweetest I've owned (Ducati's, BMW, KTM, HD). I have a 2011 Ducati Multistrada 1200S that I've tricked out and when I have time to ride, I take the 'R'.

AMAZINGLY AGILE, THE 675R HAS BEAUTIFUL STYLING, LOTS OF RACE MODS, AND A GREAT SOUNDTRACK TOO!

Extroardinarily responsive on both throttle and handling, incredible value compared to Japanese 600s (about £4000 worth of mods just compared to the ordinary 675), the fully adjustable race spec Ohlins suspension can be softened for road riding so the bike is not just good for the track, and looks which some claim rival the best from Italy.
Not a lot!
I took delivery of my 675R about 6 weeks ago, after considering the GSX 750 and 848 Evo, and I have to say I'm still totally happy with my decision!

Not only does the 675R look fantastic (it gets lots of attention parked up), but the in-line triple enables the bike to have a very slim chassis, combined with the 162Kg claimed dry weight means that this bike feels remarkably easy to ride for someone who doesn't have a huge amount of experience.

The suspension which has been occasionally criticised for being too track focused and boneshaking for roads, is fully adjustable and once softened up copes admirably with bumps and potholes without too much fuss at all. And the combination of the suspension and light steering make the bike feel really precise when cornering.

The brakes feel very sensitive but progressive and give a lot of feel without being heart-stoppingly aggressive.

But one of the things I love most about this bike is the engine. It feels more refined than the Ducati I test rode, smoother and happier in traffic, and is obviously in its element on country lanes. The underseat exhaust does provide some additonal central heating which may not always be welcome, but this is only noticeable when stationary. The engine revs effortlessly and offers loads of power and torque in any gear, and at the same time provides the most glorious musical accompaniment!

All in all, I can't fault this bike. Its everything I hoped for and more!
