Suzuki GSX-R750 K4-K5 (GSXR 750)

Our Review

Reviewed: by Visordown
Responsibility to a GSX-R750 rider is about remembering to fill up with petrol. It was and is everything a GSXR 750 should be; a brilliant track bike, back road scratcher, commuter and a bike that simply begs to be thrashed. The GSX-R750 is virtually identical to its partner-in-crime 600cc brother and ...  Continue reading

owned a fair few sportsbikes incuding a k5 1000 and k6 750 and i actually prefer this to all of them. I need a bike that's practical enough to get my 6'2" frame to work and also mental enough for trackday thril Continue reading...

Suzuki could have made a real cracker if they had only spent some money on the finish and the suspension. I've had mind professionally set up with WP spring and cartridge kit up front and WP race shock. While m Continue reading...

Very easy to use, quick or slow. Fast and lovely handling. If it's possible to use both words in the same sentance, its sensible AND exciting!

Two weeks into ownership of my first GSX-R I'm just loving it. Looking to take her trackside soon and doing so with utter confidence. Jamie Whitham was spot on when he said that it's the perfect capacity for a Continue reading...

Most  of my bikes have been from the GSXR range, and my bike started life as a GSXR K4 track bike, was alot more nimble and Stable than my previous K2 750, although seems suzuki still like to put the fast fading tokicos on them, as a 600 the bike was faultless althouth it lacked the straigh line speed and grunt to drive out of corners like the bigger bike,  as i liked the feel of the K4/5 model and size (not to small for my 6'1 15+stone frame) i decided to turn it into a K5 750 engine after sourcing one from way down south, my first impressions where thatt he bike had far supperior midrange to that of the 600 lump and drive out of corners was stronger, engine braking was alot harsher but as i use my bike only on track i invested in a siggma slipper clutch, since the end of 98 i have modified my bike a fair amount and unleashed the potential this bike has on the track

If i was to ever go back on the road i think i would probably get a K4/5 750 as current prices are more than reasonable for the qaulity of bike available, over all i would give a Standard K4/5 750 8/10
