i bought this as my 2nd bike after passing my das test the first bike i bought was a suzuki 500 gsf simlar to the one i trained on i quickly got bored with it after riding a honda 400 the suzi was like riding a lawn mower compared to the honda i bought a 2001 honda 600fs in august last year and thought WOW this is so different  it is like a balistic missile compared to the suzi anyone thinking of geting one of these as there first bike wont be disapointed  two words some it up  OOOOHHH YEAAAAH

I agree, this is a fantastic bike. Have had mine for 6 years now and done over 45,000 miles. Never missed a beat and still looks like new. Starts every time and runs really well. Have given it a good thrashing around the IOM for 3 consecutive years and kept up with most stuff. Typical Honda build quality and spares are plentiful. If you want a good reliable bike that can do most stuff then you won't be disapointed. Sady mine is being chopped in as a PX for a new ABS Repsol Blade which I pick up on 1st September – happy days!
