awesome midweight. Try it before buying anything else
light, chuckable, loads of lowdown torque but still revs up to 14k+. Really encourages you to push on.
Not great for pillions, not the most memorable exhaust note. the induction is louder than the exhaust! really encourages you to push on!
love it

constant smile on your face
flat torque curve
dealer support - the regulator went on my street triple (under warranty still). was told by the dealer that sold me it that id have to wait for 6-8 weeks before they could fix. The bike was my only way to get to work. The dealer in question was North City Triumph - Romford.
Triumph dealer support has been shocking - i guess they sold more bikes than they have trained mechanics to fix
a great bike, let down by the support of their dealers

British built, absolute joy to ride, good in all situations. The best bike I have ever ridden
The looks! Its gorgeous! Good torquey engine Nice and revy Great riding position Decent factory suspension setup Good all rounder Attention to detail
Expensive parts No inbuilt security (immobilizer etc) Had a couple of issues under warranty
Prior to riding the Street Triple I was Jap bikes all the way. After many years of riding I was after something a bit different and so set about test riding some Ducati and Triumph bikes. I remember jumping on board the Street Triple and thinking that it was very well suited for my short height (5ft4), I could reach everything without stretching and it felt light and balanced. Firing the engine up, it's nice and revy giving an awesome sound! =D I must admit, after riding sports bikes (GSX-R’s and ‘Blades) I was a bit apprehensive of the non-adjustable suspension on the Street Triple. During the test ride however, I was amazed at just how good the suspension was, not only did it absorb the horrible out of seat bumps but didn't tie itself in knots when things got a bit hasty. Knowing that it had less power than my GSX-R I thought the Triple would feel lifeless and slow but in fact I found the power a lot more accessible without having to rev it as much as the sports bikes. Power kicks in at a lot lower level and pulls all the way to the redline. This is now the longest period of time I’ve owned one bike for, and I love it!

A stylish and cool work of genius with a torque-laden motor designed and built by gods.
The sweet free-revving 675 triple, with its top-end banshee wail, is the heartbeat of this hooligan-cum-your-best-mate gem. Well screwed together with more presence than the entire Rat-Pack (pun intended)the middleweight Street Triple is cooler than Johnny Depp's fridge but combines its film star looks with serious performance, all day usability and an easy-riding experience that will appeal to newbies but not deter the seasoned rider. It's competitively priced and the early supply delays have eased. I waited 6 months from ordering mine until I took to the road but every mile has been a joy.
Very little - it's no motorway tool or pan-European tourer but buyers know that. The turning lock is a bit crap....don't practice your u-turns on this bike. Accessories are not especially keenly priced but from which manufacturer are they? Otherwise...no complaints at all.
Possibly the most seminal British motorcycle since...the Speed Triple! Maybe more so. So much more characterful (and better priced)than the opposition - Japanese or Italian. I've had mine for 18 months (having had an original FZS 600 Fazer previously)and I doubt that I'll ever again buy a bike I love as much or for so long. It's that good. The chassis is quality and although the suspension on the "ordinary" Street Triple - as opposed to the "R" - is non-adjustable, it's a spot-on set up for British roads. The Nissins scrub off speed with aplomb and the steering is light, positive and reassuring. But the star of the team is the creamy, torquey and, if required, mentalist motor. At high revs it's aural pornography. Gear changing becomes an option rather than a requirement such is the ability of the Hinkley powerplant to pull cleanly from low, low revs and fling the bike towards hyperspace. On the right roads, watch the 'Blade jockeys struggle to detach you from their back wheel. Street Triple - try it; love it.
