best fun on two wheels... fast, exciting, aggressive .... but usable

Good price, 40ish mpg so ok for commuting, its quite and polite with a gentle hand so its great in the city or over winter but if you give it some beans it pulls like a train never failing to excite! Engine is UNREAL if you have never ridden a triple especially the 675 you really really must! feels like a much larger capacity bike!! braided cables as standard plenty of tiny nice details
very few, the standard (non R) suspension is a bit soft and has a tendency to wallow out of corners many owners swap out the rear shock and the problem is cured, the forks are fine. Doesn't come with a rear hugger and it is essential
The single best bike I have ever ridden, a day to day work horse but absolutely mental if you use over 30% throttle. ok for beginners but sits perfectly with people who want excitement and comfort and are a little bored of the same old offerings

Best bike I have ever owned

So many pros, easy to ride in any conditions, does exactly what it says on the tin, lovely sweet 3 cyclinder motor bags of torque so if you want a lazy ride no need to shift up & down the box just use the torque. I find it comfortable even at motorway speeds much better than my 08 Hornet 600. Mines a 2010 R model would I buy another oh yes, yet before I bought it if you had cut me in half it would, like a piece of rock, said Honda now it would say Triumph & Honda.
Got to say service from my local Triumph shop is second to none
Standard R seat not comfortable swapped mine for a non R seat great improvement, confirmed by the wife on the pillion. I displike the high pipes (purely cosmetic) so fitted low Fresco end can very much like new model, otherwise no cons to add
Cracking motorcycle which at the moment I would not swap for anything

I love my Street Triple...!

The sound and smoothness of the engine and the instant power just when I want it.
I'm 6ft 1in tall and I thought the bike would be too small for me, but how wrong I was. Perfect riding position (just took a while to get used to not having any fairings or screen).
The sound of the Arrow exhausts - once you've had them on, you'll always have them...!
Errr... Um..... Can't fault it. It's a cracking bike..!
I think this is a great bike. I've never thought much of the 'naked' or 'streetfighter' style bike, but I took a Street Triple out for a test ride last summer and I was just blown away. It did take a little getting used to (I had a Sprint ST at the time of the test), but after an hour of riding in the sunshine, I was hooked..! The test bike had the Arrow exhausts on and the sound they made rolling off the throttle just sealed it for me..! I just can't wait for the warmer weather, and I know this year I'll be using my Street Triple more than my car..! Get one, you won't be disappointed..!

unless you live i a cave i imagine you will have heard enough about this bike...

its easier to say what isnt good about this bike really, because its mostly fantastic, but pros are

chassis

engine

arrow optional cans (mmmmmm, pop pop bang bang)

comfortable (mostly)

looks (up to 2009!)

ease of use

clutch and throttle response

FUN...and it'll do 150mph, what more do you need?!
seat is a bit shit and slides you into one position that gets uncomfortable very quickly, new bike (2013 on) looks to have addressed this with a flatter seat

a bit small in terms of leg room (and i'm only 5'8)

even on the R brakes require a lot of lever pressure
my reg/reg failed recently and was replaced for free by the dealer in newcastle (although i had to wait nearly 4 weeks for a service slot) which was nice despite it being out of warranty. happy customer.

superb, and british!
