The Speedmaster is aimed at being a bit more brutish than the Bonneville while retaining the good looks. Which it is. New for 2005 the Speedmaster get the Thruxton’s bigger, and more powerful, 865cc engine that gives it a bit more of a kick in the pants. Looks faster than it actually is, which is kind of the point really.
