Top motorcycle with good looks, ergonmics and a fantastic reliable engine.

Easy to ride anywhere.
The fuel tank needs to hold a couple more litre.
I bought one to tour parts of the USA and Canada.I used it for a year and it never missed a beat.I was sorry when I had to sell the bike to return home.

Bought my bonny 12 months ago and it's been brilliant. A lot better than I expected for a classic style bike.

It's easy to ride, smooth, reliable and pretty quick with the straight through exhausts and jetted carbs.
It handles really well and feels a lot lighter than 205kg.
Looks pretty cool and sounds good as well.
The brakes could be better. Ive had a problem with a warped front disc, so I'm gonna try a Grimeca floating disc to see if there's any improvement over the solid one.
The Bonny is a bike for people who just like riding.
Just get on and ride. No messing about it's got everything you need.
A big gutsy twin that sounds great, looks cool and goes really well.
You can suprise a lot of sportsbike riders on the twisty lanes.
You get loads of envious looks from car drivers as you weave through the traffic in town, and people ask 'is that a bonnieville' every time you park up.
It's a classy bike that beats the Harleys and Jap cruisers hands down.
You can get loads of accessories and clothing to match if that's your thing, but the best bit is the riding, and it's British!

AMAZING BIKE IF YOU AGREE THAT 186BHP AIN'T EVERYTHING.

Ultra-reliable
Great looks
Great torque
Comfortable
Holds value over years
I'd love to have the same bike with a 3 cylinder engine. I know you can get a Thunderbird but it doesn't look this good. I'm simply hooked on that 60s styling.

MPG is horrific in town (but great outside).

It looks best when clean and free from rust. Prepare for some hardcore polishing!
This bike(mine's a 2005 T100) is what I call - BUY&RIDE - no fiddling required. I've had it for over 2 years. Fitted a Scottoiler which takes care of the chain and that's it. All I do now is ride it and fill it up. I never needed to top up the oil or adjust anything. I service it myself. Literally, everything is easy to reach and with the right tools and a good manual you can get "intimate" with this big lady.

Get a pair of aftermarket pipes, match them with a good air-filter and carb-jets, remove the snorkel and you will be amazed. A big touring screen is uselful for motorway work. I ride mine in central London 90% of time. I still don't understand how such a long and heavy bike can be this easy to flick through our congested roads.

An excellent commuter, weekend toy or long-distance tourer. The choice is yours.

THE BASIS OF SOMETHING EVEN MORE WONDERFUL

Its British, sounds fantastic, is better than a harley
Absolutely nothing
mine is 865cc with triumph aftermarket pipes an a stage 1 tune. As well as being able to surprise many a sportsbike on B roads it sounds and looks superb, and with a host of accessories available the skys the limit.Brakes can be sorted with stainless lines. you need to enjoy cleaning it but when your done it will look superb.
Draws admiring looks wherever it goes, just park it near a cafe sit back and watch em gather round.
Try one, Buy one and fall in love.

DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN

Bullet proof engine. Completely reliable. Very tunable if you want to.
Poor tank range. Has been known to break back spokes. Purists don't like the exhaust kink or the tank flange. ( They should try doing 10,000 miles per year on a leaky T120 and see how they fare)The laquered and chrome engine cases are prone to flaking and ireversible discolouration. The all black engine finish seems to be indestructable and just needs wiping with WD40 to make it look like new again.
For the money a good beginner's or born again's bike. Very good two up and capable of 200/300 mile a day touring holidays including sustained 90/100 mph motorway work if you have a flyscreen. 80mph is often quicker overall though because of the extra fuel stops! Also very nimble in traffic. I am very pleased with mine after two years.
As for the T100 being a better buy, that is only really true for pre-2007 models, from 2007 onwards the base models have the same engine so you are paying the extra for two-tone paint and a rev counter as far as I can remember.
