At the age of 28 i decided i wanted to get a motorcycle for commuting. went and done my cbt undecided wether it was for me . i get home to find a 1996 rs125r extrema in white waiting for me .looks and handles like a real sports bike.  these bikes are always talked about being unreliable but it is so untrue .they just require care and loving . i ride it almost every day whatever the weather . it is a full power model and will happily see the wrong side of the speed limit . keeps up with 600,s on the back roads .has cost me a small fortune to get it into a great condition as the old owner didnt know how to maintain it. but this bike is worth all the effort when you ride along 7,800 rpm the power valve opens and it pulls like a little train. the noise and smell is so nostalgic. puts a massive smile on my face every time i ride it . the earlier models like this with the square headlamp is a very rare model to find now .
