It's a brilliant little bike (YPVS) is a better bike than the 350 LC. Mine is in my will so no intention of ever getting rid of it.

Lots are being picked up by people with no idea how to maintain them so the Continue reading...

Great hooligan bike of it's era. Fantastic smokescreens when thrashed after riding slowly for a while. Continue reading...

Fun 'nostalgia' bike. A bit low powered but it's the no power to full power  transition that makes it fun.

Lifts the front wheel too easily, ready or not.

Brakes are truly marginal, the handling is iffy, due to it's tiny tires, not so rigid frame, too soft, bendy and vague suspension. The build quality is poor, which shouldn't be a surprise, as these were quite inexpensive motorcycles to buy new.

The bores/pistons have a surprisingly short life, even shorter if one hammers the thing.

All said though, it is a fun toy for entertainment riding.

"Lifts the front wheel too easily, ready or not". You must be a very slight fellow because keeping forward on the seat and not sitting bolt upright made wheelies a choice, not a surprise.
"Brakes are truly marginal". Well, they would certainly smoke the front tire so perhaps you're talking about fade, it could be provoked in short order.
"Handling is iffy". A little too harsh or maybe you are not a very slight fellow LOL? They would exhibit a slight weaving at high speed (caused by the aerodynamics of the mirrors) but you had to work hard on the street to obtain a tank slapper or the like.
"The build quality is poor". You never owned a Ducati from that era, did you?
