I have a 91 model which I use as an all weather, all year bike to keep my others tidy. I have also taken it to Scotland and back with luggage. It benefits from a higher screen and more grunty Pro Duro silencer. It has been enormous fun and ideal for our potholed A and B roads. It can do motorway work and will cruise most happily between 65 and 75. It has a big tank and I can get 230 miles from a tankfull. It handles very well indeed on its Avon Distanzia tyres. The seat is fairly high. I am OK at 5` 10" tall, but if you are much shorter you may struggle. I have read reviews saying the seat comfort is awful but I have to disagree. With just a sheepskin cover the trip to Scotland was done just stopping once for food and once for petrol with no discomfort. The gearbox is excellent (unlike on my BMW GS!). The wheel rims are prone to corrosion from the inside, so check this out. I would recommend the bike without hesitation. If you take motorways out of the equation I enjoy riding it more than my GS.
