The beautiful planet we all live on is falling apart. Seas are rising, icecaps are melting and pandas are having trouble getting it up. Global warming is to blame: we're burning too much fuel, creating too many pollutants and allowing cows to fart unhindered. All of which is causing Mother ...  Continue reading

Owned mine from new for two years now and was fancying a change, tried the BMW, Multistrada, the new Yamaha and the Honda Cross Tourer and although one may have been faster or better luggage etc overall as a package the Tiger is in mine opinion still way in front of the rest as an overall package.

Triumph in their wisdom have stopped producing the bike, I hope they are not expecting to pick up Tiger 1050 owners for the new Explorer and 800 as they fall way short of the 1050.

Have you ever ridden an Explorer before making such a claim? I have had two Tiger 900's three Tiger 955's and now an Explorer as I love these big triples. I test rode the 1050 and although the engine was great I did not like the handling or the looks. In my opinion the Explorer is the best Tiger  incarnation yet and is in a different league to it's predecessors.
