I cannot fault this bike. It was between selling my SP1 and getting a R1200GS or keeping the the SP and getting a vstrom 1000. Really, really chuffed with the decision to do the latter. I cannot fault the vstrom's abilities and it sounds good to boot. The wife loves the back seat, I like the front and Europe will have to like our faces. I have even taken the SP off the road for a year to spend some more "quality time" with the DL1000.

Get one, get lost and find your way home again.
