The issues are easily sorted. My 2012 came with an F800GS screen already fitted, and a cheap swap to an F800GS front sprocket put the gearing closer to what it was obviously designed for, eliminating the awkwar Continue reading...
Well needed a bike to solve my lower back issues, after owning a KTM 640 LC4 (06 issue with twin Akro). Felt very intimidated when I saw the F650GS, big not elegant, looks heavy, kind of military or agricultura Continue reading...
I have a 2010 that I had since new. Have about 30K miles on it now. I love the bike. I have a few bikes and this is the one I chose to ride most often. I'm a 40 something year old rider that has been stre Continue reading...
Changes to date, front sprocket makes the gearing a bit better, taller screen, grip puppies as the standard grips must be meant for womens hands which also helps in slow speed first gear smaller openings, Holan Continue reading...
A pleasant change of pace from my ex-plod K1100 monster (plod had 140+ BHP, non-plod only got 100). Air-hawk the seat and it's a pleasure to ride tank full to tank full. Good mod's improve, adding wind-deflecto Continue reading...

Had one from new. Not that cheap by the time a few factory essentials had been fitted. Surprisingly light and nimble on the move with a brisk turn of speed. Seat even after some extensive custom work got uncomfortable after too short a time. Never got used to the over complicated turn switches. Self cancel stayed on for far too long which meant you were always going for the 3rd. button to cancel. Stupid. Electronics seemed to be constantly needing an update, and a computer glitch caused the bike to stall and dump me on my ear in a petrol station. I can do that all by myself without any help. Kept it for 2 years but never really got to like the bike. Final straw came when mine was being serviced and I was given an identical loaner with a higher mileage on it. It made mine feel and sound like a bag of nails. The dealer made the usual excuses but I knew then it had to go. No tears were shed for my first and probably last modern BMW.
