Comfortable, watertight, wide aperture, range of replacement visors available, Double "D Ring" fastening

I have a VR1 and a VR1X. I can't see the difference in them other than the VR1X feels slightly smaller. I find the helmet(s) comfortable and the inside can be removed for cleaning. The aperture and the visor seem quite wide, giving good side vision; I have visor bags that my spare visors will not fit into, they are too long. The visors can be change/removed and replaced easily.

There is a breath deflector fitted which helps keep the visor from misting up in cold weather. The Double "D Ring" fastening has an easy to use press stud to keep the loose end of the strap tucked away neatly.
Can't think of any other than "coloured" iridium visors do not seem to be available, only the gold colour.

I would preferred the VR1X to have been submitted for BS Approval the same as the VR1, then it could have been used in some motor sport classes.
Overall, I think the VR1X is excellent value. The ventilation, comfort and all round quality is fine, no complaints, I feel like my head is inside the helmet and not that it is sitting on top of my head like so many other helmets.

The visor can easily be removed, cleaned inside and out and refitted or replaced. There are a range of tinted, silvered and an iridium visor available.

I would not recommend any safety equipment. That is for the individual to decide but I obviously would not wear anything myself that I thought was inferior or not up to the job.
