Yoshimura to do a final early GSX-R1100 exhaust run
Last-chance production of Yoshi exhausts for iconic GSX-R
Well, this is it. Yoshimura have announced that they will be making a final production run of their "Daytona Special" performance full systems for early GSX-R750/1100s.
After nearly 25 years of use, the jigs and dies have worn down to a point where Yoshimura can only confidently make one last batch.
The system weighs only 4.5kg compared to the standard systems weight of 11.5kg, with the downpipes being constructed of titanium with a stainless steel collector and aluminum silencer sleeve. The high prices of titanium and the strength of the yen against the pound has had its influence on price, which is £1899.45.
