I got these just for trackdays, I wanted the best protection.
They have loads of armour on the knuckles and a huge plastic wrist collar, not to mention thick rubber on the palms to protect your scaphoid.
While all this armour sounds good, I can’t get comfortable in them. They haven’t moulded to my hands and aren’t supple enough for my liking. I struggle to feel the throttle with my palm because the chunky rubber armour gets in the way.
I thought more armour would be better, but I’m going back to the Alpinestars GP Plus instead – less protection but more feel.
