...he started racing the year I was born. Nuff said

This year I got to know Mike 'Spike' Edwards really well, as we were both racing in the 848 Challenge.

Mike is a legend in British bike racing, and next year will be his 30th season. How many 75-year olds do you know who are still active, let alone regularly on the podium at national level?

For the last decade I've had one of Mike's calendars on my desk and now you can grab one too. Just check out this link and by making a small dontation, you'll get a calendar and you'll be helping keep Mike on the grid - hopefully in the 848 Challenge - in 2012.

If the calendar's not for you, check out the link anyway and buy the awesome poster of Spike at the NW200, riding the kerbs. No garage wall is complete without it...

According to Wiki and his pics on the web he's 49 (born in 1962). Old but not an ancient 75
