AGV have launched the new GP TECH ROSSI “ELEMENTS” helmet and it costs £499.99

Since Valentino started to use the GP TECH in 2008 his primary graphic was the five continents. During the 3 seasons of ’08 ’09 and ’10, Valentino wore a number of special graphics but the five continents was always one of Valentino’s favourites and alongside the legendary VR46 the five continents was the only primary graphic to be worn unchanged for 3 seasons.

The “ELEMENTS” features the famous sun and moon design that has been the theme of all of Valentino’s primary helmets, the classical elements; Earth, Fire, Water and Air are represented in the rays of the sun and give the graphic its name. The rear of the helmet features Valentino’s trademark 46 over the moon that is partly made of the colours of the Italian flag.

Sweet If I was still riding I would get this, I have 4 Rossi lids already and this would be a sweet addition to the collection.
But since I'm not riding anymore no fun if you cant wear them

As a fan of AGV's GP-Tech, I was hoping they would release this one, but I will never pay full price for an AGV helmet, especially as my limited edition Rossi Dreamtime has faded after about two years of use. During this time it hasn't been used daily and when it is used it hasn't been exposed to sunlight for hours on end and when not in use it is kept in a helmet bag in a dark room. I didn't pay full price for it, but it's very disappointing nonetheless.

I also don't like that they don't bother to colour code the vents on some of their Rossi reps, which I find very lazy when some of the paintwork on ones they haven't (Celebr-8, Winter Test 2010) isn't as intricate as some of the ones they have bothered with (Dreamtime, Elements). Where they are limited editions, they know how many colour coded vents they would need to match the design. This particularly annoys me because they charge £500 for these replicas, some limited editions, and they're aren't actually true replicas.

I have a Rossi rep lid that I have owned over a year and as I use it every time have had to clean it also. I notice what you say about the air vents as they are difficult to clean and agree but as to the paint mine has lasted with quite a few wax cleans with no fade.
