Arai release a limited edition RX-7GP Isle of Man 2011 helmet, and donate some of the profits to the TT organisers.
Top Italian designer Aldo Drudi was commissioned to design a new paint scheme to celebrate 100 years of racing the infamous mountain course. This is Arai's and Aldo's second TT collaboration, the 2010 gold and black TT edition was an instant hit with collectors. An agreement with the distributers to squeeze margins provides a donation to the race organisers from each helmet sold.
Again, just 500 lids will be available for the European market, and owners of last years version will get first dibs. If you missed out last time, get yourself to the Isle of Man from 30th May 2011, find the Arai stand and furiously wave £699.99 at them as it will be first come first served during the event.
It is unlikely that any will be left after the race meeting, but try here to find your local distributor and see if you can put a deposit down or join a waiting list.
