Keis' new heated winter clothing

New trousers, vest, gloves and remote control from the heated clothing specialists

HEATED clothing specialist Keis has released four new additions to its winter 2014/2015 collection.

An update on the existing X2 model, the new X2i heated under trousers include an integrated controller so the wearer can control the heat independent of any other garments.

They feature ‘strategically’ positioned heat panels, a breathable soft shell fabric front and elasticated waist. The X2i’s are priced at £149.99.

A new X900 Dual Power Range glove replaces the old X800 design and can be powered from the motorcycle’s battery or a portable rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack. The gloves have a leather palm with breathable textile upper, waterproof lining, integrated three-heat level controller, and will cost £130.

The new X30 ladies heated vest has been designed to provide a more flattering fit than the unisex X10 and provides increased coverage from a higher collar.

It’s made from breathable soft shell fabric and has dedicated zipped pockets for cables and controllers. It features a ‘power distribution system’ to supply additional garments and reduce the number of cables required. Like the gloves, it can be powered from both a motorcycle battery and a portable battery pack. The X30 is priced at £115.

Keis has also released a remote control for £59.99 which allows the user to adjust the temperature of their heated garments wirelessly. It has three heat settings, comes complete with a handlebar or panel-mounted transmitter and is suitable for all existing and previous garments from Keis, except those with an integrated controller.
