LAST WEEKEND we rode the new 2013 Ducati Hypermotard at its world launch in Spain.
While we didn't get to review the Hypermotard SP on track, due to the weather, we did put the standard Hypermotard through its paces on the roads in Southern Spain. The air-cooled engines of the 796 and 1100 have been replaced by a new 821cc water-cooled engine that produces the same amount of power as the 1100, but around 10ftlb less torque.
The new Hypermotard is busrting with the latest technology including Bosch 9ME ABS, Ride by Wire throttle, traction control and three power modes.
