TEN KATE Honda have confirmed they will have the 2009 Honda CBR600RRs ready for the next round of the World Supersport championship at Valencia on April 5.
Up until the third round of the year the green and white team have had to use last year's Hondas while preparations on the new bikes continued back at their Dutch base.
The news means that former World Champion Kenan Sofuoglu and defending World Champion Andrew Pitt, who are currently occupying the first two places in the championship chase, will be on the revised motorcycles for the Spanish round.
Pitt said: "Bring on Valencia, when we'll have the 2009 CBR to play with and the straight is a little shorter!"
Team Manager Ronald Ten Kate added: "At the end of the day, we're still 1-2 in the championship and we're looking forward to getting back to Europe where our own ‘09 bikes are waiting - and we cannot wait for Valencia."
