Classic bike racing legend dies in home town after collision with car

CLASSIC BIKE racing fans will be saddened to hear of the death of racing legend Robert Gourlay, who was killed in a road traffic accident yesterday.

Father to classic bike racer Lea, Mr Gourlay, aged 59, died when his Triumph motorbike was in collision with a car near his home town of Worksop.

The driver of the Rover car, a 31-year-old Worksop man, was not hurt in the crash.
