AIRB&B has a new property listed on its website this week, as Honda rider Marc Marquez offers up ‘his’ luxurious motorhome for a track-side stay at the Cataluyna MotoGP round.
Marc and AirB&B are offering the space for two people to stay in for the duration of the race weekend, taking in the sites, sounds, and atmosphere of a MotoGP race right from the heart of the paddock and amongst the other riders in the premier class.
To spare any awkward post-race moments, especially if Marc has an off-day, the six-time champion won’t actually be staying in the truck with you, although you will be parked next door - so you’ll probably still able to hear his Shoei hit the wall if his race doesn’t go as planned!
Describing the motorhome and the experience, the listing on AirB&B reads:
‘Decked out with some of Marc's most iconic helmets and racing suits, the spacious motorhome is a glimpse into the world of one of the most successful motorcycle racers of all time. Highlights from the stay include a ride on the MotoGP™ simulator, VIP seating to watch the race, and a personal guided tour of the never-before-experienced pit boxes.’
‘Once you arrive and check-in, Marc Márquez will virtually greet you while one of his team members will ensure a comfortable stay for you and your guest — including showing you around and setting out and arranging meals.’
We can now confirm how you can book, and for an AirB&B, this is actually very good value! The one night in the motorhome will cost just €93 and that's for two people on 2nd of September 2023. Other benefits to the one night getaway are listed as:
