Taking inspiration from the legendary JPS Norton rotary race team colours, as worn by Hizzy, Steve Spray, Trevor Nation and others, Carrera Leathers UK have designed this one-piece racesuit and matching leather jacket.
Both the JPS leathers and jacket are aimed at the serious rider who wants something uniquely race team inspired, distinctive and has a genuine `Made In England' label, an increasing rarity in today's bike apparel market.
The Carrera JPS Racing style leathers may look old school, but they offer a high level of modern safety features. Both the one-piece leathers and the Sunday riding jacket are constructed of 1.4mm thick, Brazilian cowhide, with hidden, re-inforced stitching on crucial seams for maximun panel strength, and feature `Force Field' armour pieces at the shoulders and elbows, which exceed the current CE safety standards. There's also a built-in back protector sleeve.
There are Aramide Kevlar patches, offering extra strength on the main contact areas, fitted to both garments, whilst the JPS jacket features an inner pocket for stashing your `Rocket Ron' sideburns comb. An outer pocket can be specified as an optional extra.
The JPS replica race suit can be ordered with or without the `speed hump,' and all Carrera leather clothing can be personalised with the rider's name, extra product logos or one-off customer designs, at a reasonable extra cost.
