TRIUMPH has revealed an 'XC' version of the new Tiger Adventure to tackle the more off-road oriented end of the dual-sport market.
Aimed at the likes of BMW's GS Adventure, the XC gets wire wheels, hand guards, bellypan and fog lights, but otherwise carries over the specs of the existing 1215cc triple.
That means 135bhp, traction control, shaft drive and ABS. Revealed at the weekend's Triumph Live event, where many had suspected the new 2013 Street Triple might emerge, Triumph managed to keep this one quiet. Still no sign of the Street Triple, though.
According to Triumph, the XC goes on sale next March. No prices yet, though.
