THE 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R Ninja recorded 17 sales in November 2010, topping the 651-1000cc sales category, despite not one bike reaching its owner.

Pre-delivery sales figures show the all-new 190bhp superbike topped the sector in figures recently released by the Motorcycle Industry Association; the machine has recently been the subject of a worldwide recall; UK buyers will have to wait until early next year to take delivery of their machine.

The subject of the recall still remains a mystery but a Visordown reader in the USA said Kawasaki USA had contacted him about his new 2011 10R asking for it back in return for a full refund. It's believed the problem is an engine reliability issue.
