New MT-09 Street Tracker announced

Another addition to 'The Dark Side of Japan' series

YAMAHA has announced the new MT-09 Street Tracker, a scrambler-inspired bike to celebrate the first anniversary of the renewed MT line.

It takes inspiration from the dirt track scene and features a matt black finish to both the frame and bodywork, a bronze coloured cylinder head and dark bronze wheels.

The matt grey fuel tank gets new knee grips whilst a new two-tone seat featuring a brown leather top with black Alcantara-look sides will be fitted too.

The front of the bike features a short carbon front fender with aluminium stays, and there’s also a new aluminium number plate at the front.

Riders can fit an optional high-level Akrapovic exhaust that exits to the ride side of the bike’s stubby tail and has been specially developed for the Street Tracker to add a ‘gutsy’ tone and increase ground clearance.

The Street Tracker will be available in the UK from late August onwards and according to Yamaha ‘is the ideal choice of bike for those riders who are looking for a sporty and sophisticated look with a touch of vintage style.’
