New Lexmoto LXS 125cc motorcycle launched - it has an underseat exhaust!

A brand new 125cc motorcycle has just been launched by Lexmoto, the LXS 125. Is this bike headed straight to the top of sportsbike sales charts?

Lexmoto LXS 125cc Euro 5 motorcycle

LEXMOTO has just pulled the wraps on the latest 125cc sportsbike to hit the UK, the LXS 125cc. With an under-seat exhaust, Euro 5 compliant liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor capable of putting down 13.8 bhp, is this now the coolest 125cc motorcycle on the market?

Genuinely, this thing looks mint. Priced at an affordable £2,499.99, the new LXS 125 is available in either matt grey/fluro yellow (a bit ‘Dark Side of Japan’ style) or Black & blue, and gives CBT & A1 riders (and up) a brilliant opportunity to get on an aggressively styled motorcycle that’s going to be exceptional fun on the roads.

New Yamaha MT-09 SP Review 2021 | All You Need to Know About the New Yamaha MT-09 SP

2021 Lexmoto LXS 125 spec

When it comes to spec, we’re looking at: twin petal front discs with a single rear disc, 16-inch tyres front and rear, telescopic forks and a single rear shock absorber, 6-speed gearbox, and accessible 790mm seat height with 155kg running weight.

A major highlight on this model is the under-seat exhaust system, something which isn’t found on many sports bikes currently on the market - and with twin LED headlights and a clear digital display, the LXS may well be the bike to overthrow the LXR when it comes to sales - something that has shifted incredible units in its time on the market, and a bike that has recently seen a 2021 facelift with Euro 5 updates

Having ridden the LXR, it’s a comfortable sports bike to ride with fairly upright positioning with a handlebar placed nice and high, yet one that still lets you get tucked into the back roads - so I’m looking forward to getting my hands on one for a review soon to see how it compares! It’s available in dealers as of Tuesday the 20th April.

Having a look at the Lexmoto site, you can get one of these for just under £50 a month with a £100 deposit, which’s ideal for a learner after an affordable new motorcycle, plus it has 2 years parts and labour warranty. Can’t turn your nose up at that.

Lexmoto are hiring a media & marketing assistant if you're interested.
