KTM has released the first official picture of the forthcoming 1290 Super Adventure.
As reported by Visordown last week, the bike will sit alongside the 1190 Adventure and Adventure R as a 2015 model.
It will use the 1301cc V-twin engine from the 1290 Super Duke R and, according to KTM, feature ‘an incredibly large fuel tank’.
The bike will also be fitted with Bosch's cornering ABS system, called Motorcycle Stability Control, and traction control with selectable riding modes.
KTM says the Super Adventure will feature ‘absolutely unique electronically supported riding assistance equipment’.
More details will be announced when the 1290 Super Adventure is officially launched at the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, on September 30.
