When looking for a bike to base a cool, modern café racer from, the XJR1300 might not be the first machine that springs to mind. Luckily, Yamaha didn’t let that get in the way when they set about designing the stunning XJR1300 Racer.
We rode the bike at the press launch back in 2015 and loved it then. The combination of torquey yet useable engine and ‘fashionable’ styling make the Racer the perfect bike for turning heads as well as corners!
Our bike of the week this week has been taken to the next level with a lavishly applied and well thought out paintjob that’s a fitting homage to the late great Barry Sheene. With low mileage – stated as zero – the bike is advertised at £7995 and is available from Streetbike in Dudley.
