NOWADAYS, British Army recruits are told to expect tough training and gruelling conditions, but those that tried to join the Royal Signals White Helmets Motorcycle Display team back in the 1980s had it much, much worse.
A video posted to Facebook show a selection of clips from a selection course for the famous Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team, the White Helmets. Thought to be filmed back in the late 80s/early 90s. the video shows the recruits crashing into muddy rivers, colliding with trees in dense forest and all but throwing the heavy bikes up slippery inclines.
And Britain's finest fighting force don't look so mighty covered in mud and two-stroke smoke...
